It was an honour to be the host of Branxton’s World Day of Prayer service, held each year. Last year saw St Brigid’s Catholic Parish host and in 2023, St John’s Anglican Church will have the pleasure.
Together, we heard the women’s stories of struggle, from England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and we prayed for them. We prayed for the people in Northern NSW and Queensland who have just been through devastating floods. We also sent our prayers to the people of Ukraine.
After our service we enjoyed a cuppa, some food and friendship in the hall.
